Theme: What I Wish You Knew About Me as a Muslim/Jew

Prose | Fiction | Poetry | Letters up to 2000 words will be printed in a limited edition, free book as part of the envelope package. Visual art, photography prints, graphic art also accepted as long as they fit in an 8 X 11 envelope.
Submissions can include visual art, creative versions of Khutbah (Friday sermons)/High Holy Holiday sermons, letters, video letters, online music, spoken word, or an array of expression.
- Prose submissions (letters, fiction, essays, reflections) should not to exceed 2,000 words, double-spaced, single-sided pages (1″ margins, 12-pt. Times New Roman font) in a Word document, or Google docs.
- Poetry submissions cannot be longer than three double-spaces pages.
- Please include a cover sheet with name, address, phone number, e-mail address, word count, and title.
- The goal is to inform participants by May 1st regarding submission status.
Visual Art Submission Guidelines: Submit up to 3 pieces of work via high resolution images or a link to your portfolio/website accompanied. Label images with their title. Pieces cannot be three dimensional and must fit in a 8 1/2 X 11 envelope. If chosen, artists will need to provide 160 copies of their work to be dispersed in the envelope.( DIP can work with accepted submissions if this poses a financial barrier.) Some examples are here.
