May 18th – Greensboro Bound Literary Festival 

10:00 am – Contemporary Muslim Voices with Huda Al-Marashi and Soniah Kamal at Triad Stage Cabaret.

 11:15 am This Is Your Life Memoir Conversation with Jessica Handler, Huda al-Marashi, Brian Belovitch, and Deonna Kelli Sayed (moderator) at The Greensboro History Museum

February 14th | Annual Non-Erotic Valentine’s Day Reading | Scuppernong Books | 7 pm

Every year, The Guardian combs the wealth of books released and awards the Bad Sex in Fiction Awards. Shannon Jones, Steve Mitchell, and Deonna Kelli Sayed will be reading from the 2018 nominees and the historical winners. The audience can participate by bringing their favorite Bad Sex scenes to read aloud. More info here.
